Used bicycles for the United Methodist Childrens Home

Have you noticed the number of pedal assist bikes/trikes within MOSN? Many of us find that electrification makes rides a little easier, something like a friend pushing us down the road. If you are joining this group, congratulations.

Yes, with the holiday season approaching, you should see a few new bikes within the neighborhood. For some, a slight problem may exist as the older bike competes for garage space. If so, the Lake Gibson Methodist Church collects used bicycles for the Florida United Methodist Children's Home (FUMCH) in Enterprise, FL (just north of Sanford). Dwight Kitchens refurbishes and delivers bikes to FUMCH as they become available. Should you have an extra bike which needs a new rider, please give Dwight a call at 863-984-4564.
