Changes in policies and procedures for the entry gate

I want to keep everyone informed of changes in policies and procedures for the entry gate. Currently, the rule regarding RFID tags is that you must be a homeowner or a renter that is here for at least six (6) months. After much discussion and debate, both of the Association Board of Directors have come to an agreement to change this rule. I will now be able to issue RFID tags to renters with a few conditions. The renter MUST have a written rental agreement showing a start and end date from the homeowner, the vehicle registration and their ID. Each RFID tag will cost $10 and MUST be placed ON the vehicle. The RFID tag will be disabled at the end of their stay at MOSN. The new rule will help alleviate congestion at the gate house as well as cut down the number of times the guards call each homeowner regarding their renter.
Please remember that RFID tags are to be permanently attached to the vehicle it is registered to. They are NOT to be placed on plastic or held by hand up to the scanner. They are NOT to be given to friends, family or guests. This is against the rules and will result in the RFID tag being voided. The RFID system is in place for the safety and security of each homeowner and the community.
If you have a current renter, please pass this information along. Renters can come to the HOA office that corresponds with their address to purchase the RFID tag. Please provide the renter with a written rental agreement signed by both parties. If you have any questions/concerns, please reach out to me. The office phone numbers and hours are:
